New Travel Boxes for Quilt

The Ocean Case Company in Halifax built all new travel cases for the Quilt . Fitted with conservation foam insulation, recessed handles and other special features, these boxes will carry the Quilt on the next legs of the tour. They replace our much-loved and much-used boxes built by C-Tech Limited. Our old crates retire having carried the project to 16 exhibitons in the past two years This included a tour across the Arctic in the dead of winter. They always attracted much attention as curious visitors wondered how such an enormous project was transported.
