The final, wrap-up week-end of the Quilt exhibit in Saskatoon was exciting to say the least! Esther Bryan was on hand to sign books and meet with the media, including an interview with Global TV. It was great to meet the dedicated volunteers who kept a watchful eye and entertained the visitors with stories about the Quilt. What a privilege to meet so many enthusiastic visitors!
Tom Waiser, Manager, 1910 Boomtown, Western Development Museum stated, “During the period it was on display, from June 29th to October 15th, some 30,000 people passed through our doors. The Gift Shop experienced tremendous increase in sales selling over 850 (and still counting) of the Quilt of Belonging Book as well as over 100 of the Children’s Quilt Book.”
