Quilt is displayed at Nav Canada in Cornwall

Its here, its here! The Quilt of Belonging made its homecoming after its launch in April and returned to the open arms of the many, many volunteers that contributed to its being.

A unique exhibit in that so many volunteers with first hand knowledge about the Quilt, were on hand to share stories and facts about its actual making. This was a time for friends and family to come to see what all the fuss was about.

NAV CANADA, a generous sponsor of the project, dedicated staff and space for the exhibit and we shared the familiar feeling of family that has made this project so special. Mr. Guy Lauzon, MPP for the Cornwall area, gave a moving speech about the project and his pride was obvious. One last good-bye and like a bird leaving the nest, the Quilt set out on its Canadian Tour.
